3) Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor conferred with master dinanath Mangeshkar award 2015.dinanath mangeshkar is the father of Lata Mangeshkar.
4) Indian origin diplomat Gopinath Pillai was awarded 'Outstanding service award' for his services by the national university of singapore.Currently he is serving as the ambassador at large of Singapore and special envoy to Andhra Pradesh.
5) Rajya Sabha unanimously passed the rights of transgender person's bill by voice vote.It should be noted that it was a private member's bill moved by DMK MP Tiruchi Shiva to protect the rights of transgender persons.
