1) A MOU was signed between Numaligarh refinery Limited and Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation to export petroleum products to Bangladesh.The MOU seeks to provide co-operation in export of petroleum products from NRL's marketing terminal in Siliguri,to BPC's depot at Parbatipur Bangladesh.
2) On line travel services provider MakeMytrip.com has acquired Mygola a startup travel guide firm Mygola was founded by IIT Mumbai batchmates Anshyman Bapna and Prateek Sharma in 2009.It is MakeMy trip's 7th overall acquisition and 3rd of an Indian company.

3) Pakistan Govt.conferred Nishan-e-Pakistan,top civilion award on chinese president xi Jinping.He was bestowed with this award for his outstanding contribution in promotion of relationship between the two countries.
4) Sir Christopher Alan Bayly,a renowned historian passes away,at 70,in Chicago.His works were based on the 18th and 19th century India and British imperial.
5) All the light we can not see,a novel based on second world war by author Anthony Doerr has won the Pulitzer prize for fiction.The New York Times has won two prestigious Pulitzer prizes for coverage of the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.
6) The Bjp led NDA govt.has dropped names of former prime ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi from two awards.The 'Indira Gandhi Rajbhasha Puraskar' and 'Rajiv Gandhi Rashtriya Gyan-Bigyan maulik pustak lekhan puraskar' have given away for 'Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar' and 'Rajbhasha Gaurav Purashkar'.
7) National judicial appointments comnission,a body responsible for the appointment and transfer of judges to the higher judiciary in India headed by the chief justice of India.H L Dattu will be constituted by the centre.
8) Metals and Mining conglomerate Sesa sterlite,a subsidiary of Vedanta resources plc,UK has changed its name to Vedanta Ltd.
9) International mother earth day was observed globally on 22 April,2015 with the theme it's our turn to lead.This is the 45th anniversary of the earth's day.
10) The national Tiger conservation authority has accorded final approval of two national park i.e.Kudermukh National Park in Karnataka and Rajaji National Park in Uttarakhand for being declared as tiger reserves.
